Free Telegram signal copiers: what you actually get
Free usually means an EA on your own Windows machine, a trial that lasts days, or a demo that places no trades. Here is what each vendor's site offers and what it costs you instead.
A free Telegram signal copier exists, but it is almost never a free hosted service. On the sites we read on 21 September 2026, "free" meant one of four things: a free EA that runs on your own Windows machine, a trial of a paid copier that lasts days, a demo of the dashboard that places no trades, or a refund window after you pay. A cloud copier that reads your rooms and trades your account month after month at no charge was not on any page we opened.
That matters because each kind of free costs something else. The free EA costs you a computer that never sleeps. The trial costs you a deadline. The demo tells you what the screens look like and nothing about how your room's posts are read.
CopySignals is a cloud Telegram signal copier for MT4, MT5 and eTrader: it reads the rooms you already follow through your own Telegram account and places the trades on your own broker account. We sell a paid product, so read this as a vendor's article. We have no free plan. What we have is a $14 plan and a 30 day money back guarantee, and we say where a free option fits you better.
Is there a free Telegram signal copier?
Yes, as software you run yourself. The MetaTrader Market, the store run by the company behind MT4 and MT5, has a page of free trading utilities for MetaTrader 5, and on the day we looked it included a Telegram to MT5 copier listed as free. Its product page describes the setup: you install a free companion app for Windows, log in with your Telegram account and add the channels you want to copy. The same page gives the condition that comes with it: "Keep MetaTrader 5 and the companion app running for live copying."
We have not tested that product, and its description mentions no paid upgrade. The point is the architecture. A free EA plus a companion app means the copying happens on your PC, so the PC has to be on, connected and logged in for every hour the room might post. A room can post at any hour. If the laptop sleeps at 2 a.m., the signal at 2.15 is missed, and so is the "move stop to entry" message that follows it.
The usual fix is a Windows VPS. MetaQuotes offers virtual hosting for the platform and describes it as round-the-clock operation of the trading platform, even when your computer is turned off. The free copier's own page says it runs on a Windows PC or VPS, and a rented Windows server is a monthly bill. So the copier is free, and the machine under it may not be. We compared the two setups in cloud copier or one on your own machine.
What "free" means on the paid copiers' sites
Most paid copiers offer something free at the door, and the offers differ more than the word suggests.
Free trials
Nexus Copier is the most open-handed on paper. Its site offers a free 7 day trial with no credit card and full features, backed by a 30 day money back guarantee once you pay. Its two deployments are described on the same page: with Nexus Cloud "your EA runs on your own MetaTrader", and Nexus Local runs everything on your PC or VPS. So the trial also tests whether your machine stays up.
TTMT, which says it runs entirely in the cloud and is compatible with both MT4 and MT5, states that every subscription starts with a 7 day free trial, and a payment method is collected during sign-up. It adds that you have 30 days from your first payment to ask for a full refund, no questions asked. That is a fair offer, and it means the trial rolls into a charge unless you cancel, so put the date in your calendar.
Telegram AI Trader advertises a 3 day trial that starts with an activation payment. Three days is a short time to judge a copier. If the room you follow posts twice a week, you may see one signal before the trial ends.
Free demos
TelegramFXCopier has a "Try Free Demo" button. The page behind it says what it is: a way to see what the platform looks like before you sign up, with sample channels. That is useful for judging the settings. It does not read your room or place an order, so it cannot tell you how the parser copes with the way your signal provider writes.
Free extras, and sites that offer nothing free
Social Trade Hub gives away a side product. Its home page describes an analytics dashboard that is "completely free for all users", covering performance tracking and trade history. The same page says that most of its services, including copy trading, require a subscription. MetaCopier, a cloud trade copier with a Telegram signal connector, takes another route: its site says new users get a starting credit to explore the platform without an initial financial commitment. A credit runs out, so treat it as a trial measured in usage instead of days.
On the home pages of Telegram Signals Copier, Copygram and trade2sync we found no free trial, free plan or demo on the day we read them. Telegram Signals Copier and Copygram link a refund policy in the footer, and trade2sync mentions free one to one setup help. A missing trial on a home page is a statement about that page. Ask support before you rule a product out.

What does a free copier cost you in practice?
Count four things before you decide that free is cheaper.
The machine comes first. A copier on your desktop works while the desktop works. Windows updates restart it and the router drops for ten minutes. You find out when you compare the room's history with your own account. If you rent a Windows VPS to fix it, you are paying monthly after all, and you are the person who maintains the server. Copying Telegram signals without a VPS covers what the alternatives look like.
Then the follow-up messages. The entry is the easy part of a signal. The result usually depends on what the room posts afterwards: "TP1 hit, move SL to entry", "close half", "close all now". Check whether the free tool acts on those posts or only on the first one. A copier that ignores them leaves you managing every position by hand.
Third, sizing. A free tool that offers a fixed lot only will put the same size on a 20 pip stop and a 200 pip stop. Percent of the account against the signal's own stop handles both, and a maximum lot caps whatever you choose.
Last, the credential. Any copier, free or paid, needs either your Telegram login or your trading password, usually both. With a paid vendor there is a company, a refund policy and a support address. With a free download, check who published it, read the reviews on the store where it is listed, and run it on a demo account before it touches real money.
When a free copier is the right choice
If you already keep a Windows VPS running your own EAs all day, a free EA from the MetaTrader Market adds no cost, and it is a reasonable first thing to try on a demo account. If the question is only whether a paid copier reads your room correctly, a no-card trial like the one Nexus Copier describes answers it for nothing.
Free is the wrong choice when the reason you want a copier is that you cannot sit at the screen. In that case the computer at home is the weak point, and a free tool keeps it in the loop.
What CopySignals offers instead of a free plan
We do not have a free tier or a trial. What we offer is a low first step and a way back. Starter is $14 a month for one trading account, Basic is $29 for three, Pro is $149 for thirty, and every plan is the whole product, including break even after a chosen number of targets, partial closes, the trailing stop and percent sizing against the signal's stop. Billing is monthly by card or crypto, you can cancel any time, and there is a 30 day money back guarantee. Thirty days is long enough to watch real signals from your own room, follow-ups included. The plans are on the pricing page.
For MT4 and MT5, the terminal runs on our servers, one per connected account, so nothing is installed and nothing stays on at home. It reads Telegram through your own account, so a room somebody else owns can be copied. The limits are plain: MT4, MT5 and eTrader only. If your account is on another platform, look at the products in our comparison of Telegram signal copiers.
Our recommendation is simple. If you have a Windows machine that is always on and time to look after it, try the free EA on a demo account first. If you do not, pick a cloud copier with a trial or a refund window you can actually use, connect a demo or a small account, and read the log after a week. A copier places what the room posts. It does not make the room good, and trading carries risk whichever software sends the order.
