Terms of Service
Updated 28 September 2026, version 1.2, governed by the law of Hong Kong SAR.
The agreement between you and us.
About These Terms
This Legal Center sets out the terms, policies and disclosures that apply to CopySignals and to the CopySignals pages of this website (together, the "Services"). The Services are provided by the company identified in Section 12, incorporated in Hong Kong ("we", "us" or "our").
CopySignals is software that copies trading signals. It reads messages in Telegram channels your own connected account can already see, or trades opened on a connected account the Customer nominates as a source, and it places corresponding orders on the trading accounts you connect, using the rules you set. Every order is placed on your instruction. We take no view on any signal, channel or strategy, and nothing in the Services is a recommendation to enter any trade.
By visiting these pages, creating a CopySignals workspace, subscribing to a plan, connecting a Telegram account, inviting teammates, or otherwise using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these terms and policies. If you are entering into these terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity, and "you" refers to that entity.
CopySignals is a business tool. We sell it to companies and directly to individual professionals who use it for commercial purposes, such as affiliates, community operators, agencies and sales teams. By subscribing you confirm that you are acting for purposes relating to your trade, business, craft or profession, and not as a consumer acquiring the service for private use. Where consumer-protection law nonetheless applies to you and cannot be excluded, nothing in these terms limits rights you hold under that law.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the Services.
We may update this Legal Center from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top shows when the most recent changes took effect. Material changes affecting active subscriptions will be notified by email or in the product with reasonable notice.
Definitions
- CopySignals / the Platform The CopySignals software-as-a-service: the client panel, the copiers, the broker connections we run for connected trading accounts, the event logs, associated APIs, and any documentation, updates and hosting we provide.
- Customer The business or individual professional that subscribes to CopySignals and owns a workspace. The Customer is responsible for its workspace, its Connected Accounts, its Trading Accounts and every order placed through them.
- Workspace The Customer's own environment inside CopySignals, containing its copiers, its connections and its logs.
- Connected Account A personal Telegram account the Customer connects so that CopySignals can read the channels that account is already a member of. The connection is made with the Customer's own credentials and at the Customer's choice. Reading is the only automatic behaviour and what is read is not kept: a message is parsed as it arrives, the trade it describes is acted on, and a short preview is written to the copier's own event log so the Customer can see what was decided. The Platform never sends a message from a Connected Account.
- Trading Account A MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 or eTrader account the Customer connects by giving us its number, its password and its server. For a MetaTrader account we run a connection for that login on our own servers and place orders through it. For an eTrader account we run nothing: the Customer's broker holds the account and we place orders on it through eTrader's own interface for copy trading platforms, having first proved the Customer's consent with the credentials they gave us. Either way the account remains the Customer's, held at the Customer's own broker, and we never take custody of any funds in it.
- Copier One rule the Customer configures: which source to read, which Trading Accounts to place on, what size to use, what to do with the take profits, and what to do after a position is open. A copier places orders only while the Customer has it switched on.
- Bridge A Trading Account the Customer has connected and nominated as a source, so the trades opened on it drive a Copier in place of a channel.
- Subscription The Customer's paid plan, billed monthly or annually per workspace, with the limits and features of the chosen plan.
Terms of Service
3.1 Nature of the Services
We provide software and hosting only. We license CopySignals to Customers as a managed, multi-tenant service. We are not a broker, dealer, exchange, custodian, money-services business, signal provider, portfolio manager or financial adviser, and nothing in the Services is a regulated financial service or legal, tax or investment advice.
Every order the Platform places is placed on the Customer's instruction. The Customer chooses which channels to copy, which accounts to trade, what size to use and what happens after a position opens, and those settings are executed exactly as they are left. We do not review, moderate, endorse or improve the trades a channel publishes, we have no relationship with the people who write them, and we take no view on whether any signal is worth taking.
Trading is risky. Losses on orders placed through the Platform are the Customer's own, including losses caused by a signal being wrong, by a channel being abandoned or hostile, by slippage, by a broker rejecting or requoting an order, or by market conditions between one message and the next.
3.2 Your Account and Workspace
You must provide accurate details when creating a workspace and keep them current. You are responsible for safeguarding sign-in credentials, for all activity under your workspace, and for the acts and omissions of your Users. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. We may suspend access where we reasonably believe an account is compromised or is being used in breach of these terms.
3.3 Subscriptions, Billing and Renewal
Subscriptions are paid per workspace, in advance, at the prices shown at checkout or agreed with us in writing. A subscription renews automatically each period until it is cancelled. Payment details are held by Whop as merchant of record, not by us. Cancelling stops the next renewal: access continues to the end of the period already paid for, and then lapses.
We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply to periods bought after that notice. All prices shown on the website, in the app and at checkout exclude VAT. Where VAT or any other sales tax is due, the payment processor calculates and adds it at checkout as merchant of record, so the amount charged may be higher than the price shown. Any other taxes are your responsibility where applicable. When a period ends unpaid we may notify you, apply a short grace period, and then suspend the workspace to read-only. We do not delete your data during the grace and read-only periods, and export remains available.
3.3a How You Pay
The plan is priced per Trading Account: a monthly price that covers the copier and the first account, plus a smaller monthly price for each further account. The number of accounts is chosen at checkout and is what your workspace is allowed to connect. Current prices are shown on the pricing section of the website and on the Manage Plan page.
Payment is by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or crypto, handled by Whop, who sell the plan as merchant of record and issue the receipt for it. We do not receive, process or store card details or wallet credentials ourselves. The subscription becomes active when the processor confirms the payment. Unconfirmed or partially paid transactions do not activate a plan until they are resolved with the processor.
One payment buys one fixed prepaid month for the number of accounts you chose. Paying again while a month is still running adds to it rather than replacing it.
3.3b Cancelling
Cancel at any time from your Whop receipt or billing page, with no notice period. Cancelling stops the next renewal: access runs to the end of the month already paid for, then lapses. Your workspace is not deleted when that happens — your copiers, their settings and your connections are kept, so paying again picks up where you left off. Your copiers stop placing orders the moment access lapses; positions already open at your broker are untouched and remain yours to manage.
To delete the workspace and everything in it instead, ask us from the Support page in the app or by email, and we will remove it.
3.4 Plan Limits and Fair Use
Your plan carries a number of Trading Accounts, and that limit is enforced in the product: connecting one more means adding it to the plan first. There are also ceilings that are not billing questions at all, such as the number of Copiers one workspace may run, because each copier is a channel this server watches. We may apply reasonable technical measures, including rate limits, where usage threatens the stability of the service for others.
3.4a Brokers and Servers
A MetaTrader account can be connected only on a broker and server listed in the panel. If yours is not listed, email [email protected] with the broker or prop firm's name, the platform (MT4 or MT5) and the server name exactly as it appears on your account email, and we will add it. For a broker or prop firm that holds an official MetaTrader licence from MetaQuotes for the platform you ask for, we guarantee it is listed within 24 to 48 hours of your email. We cannot list a firm that runs MetaTrader without such a licence, or a platform the firm does not offer.
A broker, prop firm or server missing from the list is not a ground for a refund. See Section 4.
3.5 Your Data
Everything you put into your workspace, and everything synced into it from your Connected Accounts, is your data. We claim no ownership of it. You grant us a licence to host and process it solely to provide the Services. You can export your data at any time, and you can delete your workspace, which permanently removes it after a short recovery window.
3.6 Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate a workspace that materially breaches these terms, creates legal or reputational risk for us or for other customers, is used for prohibited activity under Section 5, or remains unpaid after the grace period in Section 3.3. Where practicable we will warn you first and give you an opportunity to cure. On termination for your breach, fees remain due and are not refunded. You may terminate at any time by letting the paid period run out.
3.7 Changes to the Services
CopySignals is under continuous development. We may add, change or retire features, provided that changes do not materially degrade the core service you pay for during a period you have already paid for.
Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use the Services to do, attempt, or facilitate any of the following:
- Breach of Telegram's terms. You are responsible for your own compliance with Telegram's Terms of Service on every Connected Account. CopySignals reads with your own account and never sends from it.
- Breach of your broker's terms. Many brokers set conditions on automated trading, copy trading and third-party access, and some forbid them outright. Checking what your broker allows before you connect an account is your job, not ours. The same goes for the rules of any proprietary trading firm whose account you connect: a challenge account closed for copying signals is between you and that firm.
- Trading an account you do not control. Connect only accounts you own or are lawfully authorised to trade. Placing orders on somebody else's account through the Platform, or copying on behalf of others for a fee, may make you a regulated firm where you are, and you would need your own authorisation for it.
- Redistributing signals you have no right to. A private channel's posts belong to whoever wrote them. Reading a room you paid for onto your own account is one thing; reselling its calls, or running copiers on behalf of paying third parties, is a matter between you and that channel.
- Unlawful marketing of the Platform or of trading. Financial promotions are regulated in many jurisdictions. If you advertise trading services, signals or results, you are solely responsible for holding any required authorisation and for the content of what you publish.
- Unlawful or harmful activity, including fraud, market manipulation, phishing, impersonation, malware distribution, or the promotion of services that are illegal where you offer them.
- Abuse of the Platform, including attempts to breach tenant isolation, probe or overload the infrastructure, drive order volume that destabilises the service for others, resell access without our written agreement, or reverse-engineer the software except where law permits.
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate under Section 3.6. Where required, we cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.
Order Execution Notice
Read this before switching a Copier on. It describes exactly what happens, and what it cannot promise.
- You are the trader. Orders placed by a copier are your orders, sent to your own broker on the instruction you configured. We do not choose them, review them, or take a position on them.
- A signal is somebody else's opinion. The channels you copy are written by people we have no relationship with. They may be wrong, may stop posting, may edit a post after it has been acted on, or may be run by somebody whose interests are not yours. Past results of any channel say nothing about future ones.
- Reading a message is not exact. Signals arrive as free text written by hand, and the Platform parses them. A post that does not read as a trade is skipped rather than guessed at, and every decision is written to the copier's log, but a badly written or ambiguous post can still be read differently from how you would have read it. Filters, an instrument list and a maximum lot size exist for that reason and we recommend all three.
- Execution is not instant and not guaranteed. Your broker fills the order, not us. Price can move between the post and the fill, orders can be requoted or rejected, spreads widen, and connections drop. The Platform reports what happened; it cannot promise a price.
- Follow-ups depend on what the room says. Break-even, partial closes and closing a trade are driven by the room's own follow-up messages. A room that never reports a target, or reports it in words nothing recognises, leaves the position running under the levels it was opened with. Your stop at the broker is what protects the position, which is why copying the stop loss is on by default.
- Automatic sizing can be wrong for your account. Risk-based sizing is worked out from your equity and the signal's stop, using what your broker reports about the instrument. Check the first few trades and keep the maximum lot set.
- Nothing is monitored on your behalf. We do not watch your positions, we do not intervene, and we have no duty to stop a copier that is losing money. Switching it off is yours to do, and it takes effect at once.
- Interruptions happen. Maintenance, a broker outage, a Telegram limit or a dropped connection can mean a signal is missed or a follow-up is not applied. Where that happens the copier records it, and Section 10 governs what we are liable for.
Third-Party Platforms
Telegram
Telegram is a trademark of its owner. CopySignals is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Telegram. Telegram may change its terms, its APIs or its enforcement at any time; such changes may affect features, and where a feature becomes unavailable for reasons outside our control this is not a defect in the Services. Restrictions Telegram applies to a Customer's account are between the Customer and Telegram.
MetaQuotes
MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 are products of MetaQuotes Software Corp. CopySignals is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by MetaQuotes. We sign in with the details you give us using the platform's own unmodified software, and place orders through it; we do not modify, redistribute or resell their software.
eTrader
eTrader (etraderweb.com) is a trading platform operated by its own provider. CopySignals connects to it through the interface that provider publishes for copy trading platforms, using credentials you give us. We are not your broker on eTrader and we do not operate the platform; your account, your funds and your terms are with the broker you hold it at.
Your broker
Your relationship with your broker is yours alone, and their terms govern the account. We make no representation about any broker: their execution, their spreads, their solvency and their treatment of automated trading are matters between you and them. A broker that restricts or closes an account for copy trading has done so under its own rules, not ours.
Signal channels
The channels a Customer copies are written by third parties we have no relationship with. Mentioning that they can be copied is not an endorsement of any of them, and we make no promise about the quality, honesty or results of anything they publish.
Whop
Card payments are sold and processed by Whop as merchant of record. Their own terms and privacy policy apply to the payment itself.
Warranties, Liability & Indemnity
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". We warrant that we will provide the Services with reasonable skill and care; beyond that, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted or error-free operation, the accuracy of AI-generated content, the accuracy of analytics, and the achievement of any commercial result.
Liability cap
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Services in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid for the Services in that period. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of data (beyond restoring from our backups), advertising spend, or losses caused by Telegram, advertising platforms, payment providers or other third parties. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud.
Indemnity
You will indemnify us against third-party claims, fines and reasonable costs arising from your content, your marketing, your instructions to the AI Assistant, your use of the Tracking Tools, your breach of Telegram's or any advertising platform's terms, or your breach of these terms.
Governing Law & Disputes
These terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Services are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory law of your home jurisdiction grants you the right to bring or defend proceedings there. Before starting formal proceedings, you agree to contact us and attempt in good faith to resolve the matter; most issues are resolved this way.
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in force. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them within our corporate group or on a sale of the business.
