Social Trade Hub alternative: CopySignals vs Social Trade Hub

Social Trade Hub lists nine platforms and CopySignals three. Here is what its own pages say, side by side with ours, so you can see which fits your account.

The Social Trade Hub alternative to pick depends mostly on which platform your account is on. Social Trade Hub is a cloud Telegram copier that lists nine platforms, and CopySignals covers three: MT4, MT5 and eTrader. If your broker is on MT4 or MT5 the two are close, and the differences are in how they size, filter and read a signal. If you trade on eTrader, or on one of the platforms we do not support, the choice is made for you.

CopySignals is a cloud Telegram signal copier for MT4, MT5 and eTrader: it reads the rooms you already follow through your own Telegram account and places the trades on your own broker account. We make it, so read that sentence as the vendor's. What follows about Social Trade Hub is what its own pages say, linked where it is used.

What does Social Trade Hub say it does?

Its Telegram copier page says it "automatically copies trading signals published in Telegram groups to your trading accounts". It lists the actions it detects: open and close, break even, partial close, modify take profit, modify stop loss, pending orders and close all positions. It also says it can extract signals from images sent in a channel, for providers who post screenshots.

Next to the Telegram copier there is a separate account-to-account product. Its trade copier page uses a "Sender" and "Receiver" model: the sender is the source account and the receivers execute its trades. The home page lists a free analytics dashboard and an economic calendar as well.

That is a wide product, and it is fair to say it does several things we do not describe. We do not claim image reading, an economic calendar block or an analytics dashboard.

Which platforms does each one support?

Social Trade Hub's FAQ lists MetaTrader 4 and 5, cTrader, TradeLocker, MatchTrader, TradingView and three crypto exchanges. Three of those are cTrader, TradeLocker and MatchTrader, which are common at prop firms, and one is TradingView. The list on its pages does not include eTrader.

CopySignals places trades on MT4, MT5 and eTrader. eTrader accounts are driven through eTrader's copytrading API, and one copier can send the same signal to accounts on all three. cTrader, MatchTrader and TradeLocker are not supported. Our page on copying Telegram signals to eTrader covers that side.

Do you need a VPS with either one?

No, with both. Social Trade Hub describes its copier as "100% cloud-based. No VPS required. Your trades are copied 24/7 even if your computer is turned off". CopySignals runs one MetaTrader terminal per connected account on our own servers, so you install nothing and rent no machine. Because both are cloud products, this is not what separates them. For readers who still compare against desktop tools, copying Telegram signals without a VPS explains the difference.

How do the two compare on features?

Take profit handling is the clearest gap on paper. A room that posts four or five targets is split across all of them on CopySignals, with the weights you choose, while the Social Trade Hub page speaks of three. If the rooms you follow rarely go past three targets, that gap will not matter to you. Our explainer on multiple take profits shows how the weights work.

How does sizing compare?

Social Trade Hub has the longer list here. Its trade copier page names six lot modes, including an equity ratio and per symbol settings, and its Telegram copier offers risk as a percentage of balance or fixed lots. CopySignals has four methods per account: a fixed lot, a percent of the account measured against the signal's own stop, a multiple of the master's lot, or the master's lot scaled by balance. Every one is capped by a maximum lot. The maths behind the risk percent method is in lot size from risk percent.

What about filters and protection?

The trade copier page lists economic calendar event blocking, equity protection thresholds, stop trading targets, slippage control and spread adaptation. We have no calendar block or equity threshold. CopySignals gives you a maximum spread, a delay before placing, a cap on open positions, word filters, an instrument list and reverse copy. Those guard a single fill and a single room, while the Social Trade Hub list leans toward account level protection. Which you want depends on whether your worry is a bad fill or a bad day.

Which Telegram account does each one use?

This one matters if you follow a room somebody else owns. CopySignals reads the channel through your own personal Telegram account, so any room you are already a member of can be copied. Nothing is sent from that account. The Social Trade Hub pages I read describe copying from Telegram groups but do not say how the connection is made, so their site does not say whether a room you do not own can be used. Ask them before you pay if that is your case. Our piece on user account and bot copiers shows why the answer decides what you can copy.

Which one should you pick?

Pick Social Trade Hub if your account is on cTrader, TradeLocker, MatchTrader or a crypto exchange, if the room posts screenshots, or if you want calendar blocking and equity protection built in. Pick CopySignals if you trade on MT4, MT5 or eTrader, want each target weighted, and want the same product to mirror one of your own accounts onto others, including a funded account at a different size. Our notes on copy trading for prop firm accounts cover what to check with the firm first. Trading carries risk either way.

Plans start at $14 a month, every plan includes the whole product, and there is a 30 day money back guarantee. The setup is on the Telegram to MT5 page, and a wider look at the other tools is in our 2026 comparison of Telegram signal copiers.
