What a Telegram signal copier costs to run

The subscription is one line of the bill. Hosting, broker costs and account limits decide what you really pay to copy a signal room.

A Telegram signal copier costs its monthly subscription plus whatever it takes to keep it running, and the second part is the one people forget. If the copier is software you install, you also pay for a Windows machine that stays on. If the terminals run in the vendor's cloud, the subscription is the whole bill. Either way, the price of the copier is only one line of what it costs to copy a signal room.

CopySignals is a cloud Telegram signal copier for MT4, MT5 and eTrader: it reads the rooms you already follow through your own Telegram account and places the trades on your own broker account. Its plans start at $14 a month, and this article uses that as the worked example because it is the only price we can state for certain.

What does a Telegram signal copier cost per month?

With CopySignals the subscription is $14, $29 or $149 a month, billed monthly and cancellable at any time. The pricing page lists Starter at $14 for one trading account and one Telegram account, Basic at $29 for three trading accounts and one Telegram account, and Pro at $149 for thirty trading accounts and three Telegram accounts. Business is quoted by email for more. VAT is added at checkout where it applies.

Every plan includes the whole product. Nothing is held back for a higher tier, so the plans differ only in how many accounts they cover. That makes the choice a counting exercise: how many trading accounts will receive the signals, and how many Telegram accounts do you read from.

Is the price per account or per signal room?

With us it is per connected account, not per room or per signal. One Telegram account can read as many rooms as you are a member of, so adding a second room does not change the bill. Adding a second broker account may, because that is what the plan limit counts.

Divide the plan by the trading accounts it covers and the picture changes. Basic costs about two thirds of a Starter plan per account, and Pro costs about a third of it. If you copy one signal room to a single personal account, Starter is the plan. If you also run a prop firm account and a second personal one, Basic is cheaper than three separate Starter plans, and that arithmetic is the only reason to move up.

How does billing and cancelling work?

Billing is monthly, with no contract. You can pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or crypto, and the pricing page says you cancel from your receipt or billing page and the plan stops at the end of the month you have paid for. An account is created automatically when you first pay, using the email you gave at checkout. Because nothing is prepaid for a year, trying the product on a demo account for a month costs one month, not a year. We suggest exactly that in testing a signal room on a demo account first.

What else do you pay for besides the copier?

The costs that sit outside any copier are the same whichever product you pick. Most readers are surprised by how much of the real bill they are.

  • The signal room itself. Many are paid. The copier does not include one, and we do not sell signals.
  • Your broker's spread, commission and swap on every copied order. A copier that splits a signal into five orders pays that cost five times, so a long list of take profits has a price of its own.
  • A prop firm challenge fee, if you copy onto a funded account. Our guide to copying onto several prop firm accounts covers how the sizing works there.
  • Hosting, if your copier needs it. This one is optional, and it is the one a cloud copier removes.

Do you pay extra for a VPS?

You do if the copier runs on your side and you want it working while your own computer is off. A VPS is a rented remote Windows machine, and renting one is a separate monthly cost on top of the copier. MetaQuotes sells hosting for MetaTrader on exactly this basis: its VPS page offers hosting for "uninterrupted operation of robots and instant copying of trades", with rental periods of 1, 3, 6 or 12 months and a free trial period of 24 hours. That is a legitimate way to solve the problem. It is also a second subscription, a second thing to log in to, and a second thing to check when a trade does not appear.

CopySignals runs the MetaTrader terminal for each connected account on our servers, one per account, so there is no hosting to rent. We cover this in detail in copying Telegram signals without a VPS, and the trade-offs between the two designs are in cloud copiers against copiers you install.

Is there a free Telegram signal copier?

Some products have a free tier or a trial, and we cover what free means in practice in our free Telegram signal copier article. The question to ask is what stops working when the free part ends: the number of accounts, the number of trades, or a feature you needed. The more reliable test is to price the setup you actually want, then compare that total.

How to compare the real cost of two copiers

Write down four numbers for each product and add them up. This takes ten minutes and replaces any pricing table you will find.

  1. The subscription for the number of trading accounts you will connect, today and in six months.
  2. Whether the plan limits Telegram accounts, rooms or trades, and whether you hit that limit.
  3. The hosting you must pay for separately, if any.
  4. Which features are on your plan. A trailing stop or partial closes that only exist on a higher tier are not part of the lower price.

Read the vendor's own pricing page for the first and last items rather than a comparison article, ours included. Prices and tiers change, and a page that lists them dated last quarter is wrong by now. Our checklist for choosing a signal copier has the non-price questions to ask alongside these.

Which plan should you start on?

Start on the smallest plan that covers the accounts you will connect in the first month, and move up only when you are turned away by the limit. Starting high to be safe costs money on every month you do not need it.

Where CopySignals is not the cheapest answer

CopySignals supports MT4, MT5 and eTrader only. If your account is on any other platform it is not an option at any price. And if you want a single Telegram room copied to one demo account for a week, a free tool may be all you need. We are the better fit when you follow rooms you do not own, want the follow-up messages handled and would rather not run a machine.

The full list of plans is on the CopySignals pricing page. Trading carries risk, and a copier only automates the orders you would otherwise place by hand.
