Telegram signal copier for TradeLocker, DXtrade and Match-Trader
CopySignals connects to MT4, MT5 and eTrader only. Here is what that means if your prop firm account is on TradeLocker, DXtrade or Match-Trader, and what to do instead.
A Telegram signal copier for TradeLocker, DXtrade or Match-Trader has to place orders on those platforms, and CopySignals does not. CopySignals supports MT4, MT5 and eTrader only. If your prop firm account is on one of the other three, this article tells you what that means and what you can do about it.
CopySignals is a cloud Telegram signal copier for MT4, MT5 and eTrader: it reads the rooms you already follow through your own Telegram account and places the trades on your own broker account. That is the whole list of platforms it connects to, so we would rather say so at the top than let you find out at checkout.
Can CopySignals copy Telegram signals to TradeLocker, DXtrade or Match-Trader?
No. A TradeLocker, DXtrade or Match-Trader account cannot be connected to CopySignals. The same limit applies to platforms outside that list, which we cover in a separate article.
The reason is mechanical. Our MetaTrader terminals run on our servers, one per connected account, and eTrader accounts are driven through eTrader's copytrading API. There is no connection to the other platforms, so there is nothing to configure on your side that would change the answer.
Many prop firms offer more than one platform. If yours lets you choose MT4 or MT5 for the same challenge, that choice decides whether a Telegram copier like ours can work for you at all. Look at the firm's own platform list before you pay for a challenge, not after.
What are TradeLocker, DXtrade and Match-Trader?
All three are trading platforms that brokers and prop firms license or use, rather than something you buy as a trader. That is a different position from MetaTrader, and it explains why the copier market treats them separately.
TradeLocker's home page calls it a "Next-Gen Forex Trading Platform" and says you can pick a broker and trade with your own funds, or take a challenge or instant funding with a prop firm. It runs on web, desktop and mobile.
DXtrade's home page describes it as a "Multi-Asset Trading Platform for Banks and Brokerages" and lists a separate prop trading technology offering for CFDs and futures.
Match-Trader's home page describes a platform for forex brokers and prop trading firms. Its prop trading page describes a prop solution for challenge-based trading with evaluation rule controls such as trailing drawdown, profit targets and daily loss limits, and lists Brokers, Admin, Platform and FIX APIs for integrations.
MetaTrader is licensed to brokers too. MetaQuotes' page for brokers says MetaTrader 5 supports copy trading and social trading models.
Is there a Telegram copier that supports TradeLocker, DXtrade or Match-Trader?
Yes, at least one says it does. Copygram's Telegram trade copier page lists supported platforms including TradeLocker, DXtrade and MatchTrader, and its comparison table opens its list with "MT4/MT5, TradeLocker, Tradovate, NinjaTrader" and goes on to name DXtrade and MatchTrader. The same page describes MT4 and MT5 copying through a hosted connection, with no local EA or personal VPS.
We read only that page for this article. We did not test Copygram, and we are not able to tell you how well it handles any of those platforms. If one of them is your platform, Copygram is where to start looking, and our CopySignals and Copygram comparison covers the MetaTrader side in more detail.
TradeLocker's own hub page has an entry reading "Explore trade copiers you can connect to TradeLocker", marked "Coming Soon" when we read it. Match-Trader's prop page has no mention of trade copiers. Neither page says anything about Telegram. Check them again on the day you decide, since vendors change these pages.
What should you do if your prop firm account is on one of these platforms?
You have three realistic choices, and the first is the cheapest.
- Ask whether the firm offers MT4 or MT5. Some firms let you pick the platform when you buy the challenge. If MT5 is on the list and the rules are the same, take it and use a copier that reads Telegram. Our guide to prop firm rules and trade copiers lists what to check in the firm's terms first.
- Use a copier that supports your platform. Read what it says about Telegram access: whether it asks the room owner to add a bot, or reads the room through your own account. The questions are in user account versus bot copiers.
- Place the trades by hand. This is slow and you will miss entries, but it works on any platform and it keeps you inside any rule that bans automation.
Whatever you choose, read your prop firm's rules on automated trading and copy trading before connecting anything. Some firms restrict them, and the rule belongs to the firm, not to the copier or the platform.
What does CopySignals do well for a prop account on MT4, MT5 or eTrader?
If your firm does give you an MT4 or MT5 login, the product is built for that case. It reads free text signals for the instrument, side, entry or entry zone, stop loss and every take profit, and it handles the follow-up messages as well: break even after a number of targets, partial close at each target, a trailing stop, and the exit when the room reports a stop or the last target.
Sizing is set per account, so a funded account and a personal one can follow the same signal at different sizes. You can pick a fixed lot, a percent of the account measured against the signal's own stop, a multiple of the master's lot, or the master's lot scaled by balance, always capped by a maximum lot. A cap on open positions and a maximum spread are also there. The walkthrough for the two-account case is in funded and personal account, same signal, and the prop firm signal copier page shows how it fits together.
The terminals run on our servers, so you rent no VPS and leave no computer on. Every plan includes the whole product, from $14 a month on the pricing page, and there is a 30 day money back guarantee. Trading carries risk, and a copier does not change that.
Which platform should you pick for a prop challenge?
If you follow Telegram signal rooms, choose the platform that your copier supports, then choose the firm. Doing it the other way round is how people end up retyping signals into TradeLocker at 3 a.m. For CopySignals that means MT4, MT5 or eTrader. If the firm you like is on TradeLocker, DXtrade or Match-Trader only, a different copier or manual entry is the honest answer, and we would rather you know that before you pay anybody.
