MetaCopier alternative: CopySignals vs MetaCopier
MetaCopier lists far more platforms than CopySignals, which trades MT4, MT5 and eTrader only. Here is what MetaCopier's own site and docs say, side by side.
The MetaCopier alternative to pick depends on where your accounts are. MetaCopier's home page lists MetaTrader 4 and 5, cTrader, DXtrade, TradeLocker and a run of crypto exchanges and brokers, while CopySignals trades MT4, MT5 and eTrader and manages the trade after entry from the room's follow-up posts. If your accounts are all on MT4, MT5 or eTrader, CopySignals is the narrower and more specific tool. If one leg sits on a platform we do not touch, MetaCopier may be the only one of the two that can help.
CopySignals is a cloud Telegram signal copier for MT4, MT5 and eTrader: it reads the rooms you already follow through your own Telegram account and places the trades on your own broker account. We make it, so read that as the vendor's sentence. What follows about MetaCopier comes from its own site and documentation, read on 27 September 2026 and linked where it appears.
What does MetaCopier do?
MetaCopier describes itself as a cloud platform for trade replication between MetaTrader 4/5 and more than a dozen other platforms and crypto exchanges. It says there is no need for installation or a VPS, and its quick start guide has you register, create a project, connect trading accounts in the browser and then create a copier from a master to a destination account.
Telegram is one of its signal sources. The home page says you connect your Telegram account to receive signals from any chat or channel, and that an AI parses free-text signals from any provider. That is a broad product, and where the platform list matters to you it is broader than ours.
Is CopySignals a good MetaCopier alternative?
Yes, when every account you trade is on MT4, MT5 or eTrader. CopySignals drives eTrader accounts through eTrader's copytrading API and runs one MetaTrader terminal per connected account on its own servers, so you install nothing and rent no VPS. It is not a good alternative when you need cTrader, DXtrade, TradeLocker, a crypto exchange or a futures broker: we do not support them, and MetaCopier lists them.
Both products run in the cloud without a VPS. If that is the question that brought you here, copying Telegram signals without a VPS and running a copier in the cloud or on your own machine cover what the phrase means and what changes.
How does each one read a Telegram room?
Both read a room through a personal Telegram login, not a bot. MetaCopier's Telegram guide has you create an application at my.telegram.org, save the API ID and API Hash, then sign in with your phone number and the code Telegram sends. It also says a private channel works as long as your Telegram account is a member of it.
CopySignals uses your own personal Telegram account the same way, so any room you already belong to can be copied, including one somebody else owns. Nothing is sent from that account, and nothing is stored beyond a short preview in the event log. We do not ask you to create your own API credentials at my.telegram.org. The longer explanation of why the login type matters is in copying a Telegram channel you do not own.
On parsing, CopySignals reads free text into instrument, side, entry or entry zone, stop loss and every take profit, and skips a post that does not read as a trade with the reason on the event log. MetaCopier's guide lists formats from a plain "BUY EURUSD" line to natural language with emojis, and adds that the AI "is intended for signal extraction and not for building strategies". It also lists daily message limits by AI model tier, which is worth reading against how busy your rooms are.
What happens after the entry?
This is the part that decides most signal results. A room posts the entry once and then talks for hours: "move to break even", "close half at TP1", "stopped out". CopySignals reads those follow-ups. It moves to break even after a number of targets you choose, closes a share at each target, trails the stop and exits when the room reports a stop or the last target. Take profits can be split with your own weights, first only, run to the last, or none.
MetaCopier's Telegram guide does not describe how follow-up messages are handled: for break even, partial closes or stop changes it points you to the separate risk management features. Its home page lists trailing stop and break even as features, and its Pro features page describes the trailing stop as one that "automatically updates the stop-loss as a position gains profit". Those read as account-side rules rather than a reading of what the room says, and its documentation does not spell out a partial close per target. If your room manages trades by chat, ask MetaCopier's support how a "move your stop to entry" post is handled, and test ours on a demo account.
How is position sizing different?
MetaCopier's Telegram guide lists fixed, balance scaled, AI, risk percent, risk amount and margin percent volume modes, with a cap on the volume. CopySignals sizes each account as a fixed lot, a percent of the account measured against the signal's own stop, a multiple of the master's lot, or the master's lot scaled by balance, always under a maximum lot you set. The percent-against-the-stop mode makes the lot shrink as the stop widens, which keeps a wide-stop signal from becoming your largest loss. The arithmetic is in lot size from risk percent.
On controls, MetaCopier's features page lists a spread filter, permitted symbols, an order type filter, a trade cooldown, a maximum number of open positions and risk limits that stop new trades when a drawdown threshold is hit. The drawdown limit is a feature we do not list. CopySignals has symbol renames with a prefix and suffix, word filters, an instrument list, a delay before placing, a maximum spread, a cap on open positions and reverse copy. MetaCopier's copier documentation also describes reverse copying.
Can it copy between my own accounts?
Both can. MetaCopier lists MT4 to MT5 and MT5 to MT4 among its platform pairs, and says its copiers reflect a master's closed position on the slave, as its copier page puts it. In CopySignals a connected trading account can be the master, and its positions are mirrored to every other account at that account's own size, across brokers and platforms, inside the same plan as the Telegram copier. See copying trades between MT4 and MT5 for the setup.
For prop firm accounts, MetaCopier says its features are built with prop firm rule sets in mind and lists copying for a prop firm trading challenge across its platforms. If your funded account is on one of the other platforms it lists, that breadth counts. For a funded MT4, MT5 or eTrader account next to a personal one at a different size, CopySignals covers it; the details are in copy trading for prop firm accounts.
What about trying it first?
MetaCopier's home page offers a trial credit to start copy trading, and its quick start guide says a credit card is needed and is only charged after the trial period ends. Its home page does not state a refund policy. CopySignals has a 30 day money back guarantee on every plan, billed monthly by card or crypto, and you can cancel any time.

| Platforms | Where it runs | Telegram login | After the entry | Sizing | |

| CopySignals | MT4, MT5, eTrader | Our servers, one terminal per account | Your own Telegram account | Break even by targets, partial close per target, trailing stop, exit on stop or last target | Fixed, percent against the signal's stop, multiple of master, scaled by balance, capped by a maximum lot |
Which one should you pick?
Pick MetaCopier if any account you need to copy to or from is on a platform we do not support, or if you want drawdown limits on the copier itself. Pick CopySignals if your accounts are on MT4, MT5 or eTrader, the rooms you follow keep posting after the entry and you want those posts acted on, and you would rather not create your own Telegram API credentials. Our MT4 and MT5 trade copier page shows the product, and the list of MT4 and MT5 trade copiers puts both in the wider market.
Every CopySignals plan is the whole product, from $14 a month; see pricing. A copier only places what the room posts and does not make the room's calls good. Trading carries risk, so try either one on a demo account first.
