Copy day trading signals from Telegram

Day trading rooms post in the morning and call it done by the close. Sizing against the stop and handling the room's exit message matter more than raw speed.

To copy day trading signals from Telegram, you need a copier that places the trade while you are not watching and closes it from the room's updates before the session ends. CopySignals is a cloud Telegram signal copier for MT4, MT5 and eTrader: it reads the rooms you already follow through your own Telegram account and places the trades on your own broker account.

Day trading rooms sit between the two kinds we have already covered. They are slower than scalping rooms and faster than swing rooms: a signal is posted in the morning, the room trims it by lunch and calls it done by the close. That rhythm sets what you configure.

How do you copy day trading signals from Telegram automatically?

You connect your own Telegram account, pick the room, connect a broker account, and set how each signal is sized and managed. CopySignals then reads every post in the room, places the trade when a post reads as one, and applies the room's later messages to the open position.

Because it uses your own Telegram account, any room you are already a member of can be copied, including one somebody else owns. Nothing is sent from that account. The same steps for each platform are on the Telegram to MT5 page, and the longer walk through is in auto trade Telegram signals.

What is different about a day trading signal?

The trade has a deadline. A swing signal can sit for a week, so a missed update is an inconvenience. A day trade that is meant to be flat by the New York close is a different matter if the room says "close it" at 15:40 and you are in a meeting.

Three things follow from that.

  • The room's exit message matters as much as its entry. CopySignals exits when the room reports a stop or the last target, and applies the room's break even and close messages to the open trade. How these posts are read is in modify and close messages.
  • Several signals can overlap. A room that posts four calls before noon can leave four positions open together.
  • The stop is moderate, so sizing against the stop is easy to get right and easy to skip.

How should you size day trading signals?

Size against the signal's own stop, and put a maximum lot above it. CopySignals offers four methods per account: a fixed lot, a percent of the account measured against the signal's stop, a multiple of the master's lot, or the master's lot scaled by balance. Every method is capped by the maximum lot.

With the percent method, a 1 percent setting and a 40 point stop gives a larger lot than the same setting with an 80 point stop, and the money at risk at the stop is the same. A fixed lot ignores that difference. If the room varies its stops from morning to afternoon, the percent method keeps each trade comparable. The working is in lot size from risk percent, and the choice between the two is argued in fixed lot vs risk percent.

How do you split the take profits on a day trade?

Decide it before the first live signal, because the same signal gives different results under different splits. CopySignals can spread the position across the targets with custom weights, take the first target only, run to the last, or use none.

A common day trading choice is to close part at the first target and move the rest to break even after one target is hit. CopySignals can do the break even step after a chosen number of targets and can close a part at each one. Whether that suits you depends on how often the room's trades reach the second target, which is something to read from a few weeks of its posts, not from our page. Both settings are explained in multiple take profits explained and break even and partial close.

If the room tends to let a winner run into the afternoon, a trailing stop is the other tool. The settings are in trailing stop on copied signals.

How do you stop four overlapping signals becoming one big risk?

Use the cap on open positions. CopySignals can limit how many positions an account holds, and a new signal is not placed once the cap is full. If the room never has more than three trades running, a cap of three means a burst of calls cannot stack up on your account unseen.

Pair it with a maximum spread. Quotes widen around the open and around news, and a room may post then. A maximum spread skips the order if your broker's spread is above the figure you set, and a short delay before placing can give the room time to correct a post. Both have their own articles: the open positions cap, max spread filter and delay before placing. A delay costs price on a fast move, so test it before you trust it.

Do you need a VPS to copy a day trading room?

No. The MetaTrader terminals run on CopySignals' own servers, one per connected account, so you install nothing and need no VPS. Your computer and phone can be off. For a day trader with a job, that is the point: the trade is placed and managed at 09:05 whether or not you are at a screen. See copy signals while your PC is off.

What does CopySignals not do for day traders?

It does not judge a room, and it does not make a room's calls better. A losing signal is copied as faithfully as a winning one. It supports MT4, MT5 and eTrader only, so an account on another platform cannot be connected. It cannot change your broker's spread or fills, so your entry can differ from the room's; why your results differ from the signal room goes through the causes.

It also acts only on posts it can read as a trade or as an update to one. Anything else is skipped, with the reason on the event log. Read that log every day in the first week. Trading carries risk, and you are responsible for the accounts you connect.

A setup to start with

  1. Connect a demo account at the same broker as your live one, so symbol names and spreads match.
  2. Size by percent of the account against the stop, with a low percent and a maximum lot above it.
  3. Set the cap on open positions to the most trades the room usually has running at once.
  4. Pick the take profit split and the number of targets before break even, and write both down.
  5. Set a maximum spread above your broker's ordinary reading, so it only blocks the unusual one.
  6. Copy the room for two weeks and compare the event log with the room's posts, then go live at the smallest lot.

Every plan includes the whole product, from $14 a month, with a 30 day money back guarantee, so the demo test adds nothing to the cost; see the plans. If the room you follow also posts quick scalps, copy scalping signals from Telegram covers what changes, and copy swing trading signals does the same for longer holds.
