Telegram signal copier for forex pairs

A copier can trade the currency pairs a signal room posts, but pip value, broker symbol names and spreads differ pair to pair. Here is what to set.

A Telegram signal copier for forex pairs reads a room's post for EURUSD, GBPJPY or any other pair, matches the name to what your broker quotes, sizes the trade against the signal's own stop and then follows the targets and updates. Currency pairs look like the easy case, and they mostly are, but three details still decide whether the copy matches the post: the symbol name, the pip value of the pair, and the spread at the moment of entry.

CopySignals is a cloud Telegram signal copier for MT4, MT5 and eTrader: it reads the rooms you already follow through your own Telegram account and places the trades on your own broker account. This page covers what changes from pair to pair and the settings that deal with it.

Can a Telegram copier trade forex pairs automatically?

Yes. A copier parses the pair, the side, the entry or entry zone, the stop loss and every take profit from the room's free text, then places the order on your account. CopySignals does this for any instrument your broker quotes, and a post that does not read as a trade is skipped, with the reason on the event log.

The copier does not decide anything about the pair. It does not judge whether a call is good, and it gives no advice. Trading carries risk, and a copied trade can lose exactly as the original can. What you control is how the copy is built: size, targets, filters and timing.

Why does the same signal need different lots on different pairs?

Because a pip is worth a different amount of money on each pair. On a dollar-quoted pair such as EURUSD, one pip on one standard lot is worth about 10 USD. On a yen pair the pip is the second decimal place and its value depends on the current USDJPY rate. A fixed lot that risks a comfortable amount on one pair can risk noticeably more or less on another.

Here is an invented example, to show the arithmetic and not a real trade. The account holds 10,000 USD and you risk 1%, so 100 USD is at risk. A room posts a EURUSD buy with a stop 20 pips away. At 10 USD a pip per lot, the stop costs 200 USD per lot, and 100 divided by 200 gives 0.5 lots. Next, the room posts a USDJPY buy with a stop 30 pips away. Assume your account shows a pip worth 6.50 USD per lot at that moment. The stop costs 195 USD per lot, and 100 divided by 195 is about 0.51 lots.

The two lots are close only because the numbers happen to line up. Change the stop on the yen pair to 50 pips and the lot falls to about 0.31. That is why CopySignals offers sizing as a percent of the account measured against the signal's own stop: the lot follows the stop and the pair without you recalculating. The lot size from risk percent article shows the formula with every assumption stated, and fixed lot vs risk percent compares the two methods.

Your broker's pip value is in the symbol specification on your own account. Read it before you trust any figure on this page.

How do you match a pair to your broker's symbol name?

With a rename plus a prefix or suffix, set per trading account. Rooms write EURUSD. Your broker may list EURUSD.r, EURUSDm, EURUSD.pro or a similar variant, and an order sent to a name the broker does not list is rejected.

CopySignals matches the symbol to what the broker quotes, so the same post can reach one account where the pair is plain EURUSD and another where it carries a suffix. If you copy one room to a prop firm account and to a personal account at a different broker, set each account once. The symbol suffix and broker names article explains where to find your broker's exact names.

Which pairs should you let the copier trade?

Only the ones you want. Many rooms post currency pairs, gold, indices and sometimes crypto on the same day. An instrument list limits the copy to the symbols you name, and everything else in the room is left alone.

That matters for sizing too. A room that mixes EURUSD with an index will give you one lot logic that fits one of them and not the other. Listing only the pairs keeps the sizing rule meaningful. The instrument list article walks through the setting. If the room also posts metals, the gold signal copier page covers what changes there.

How do you deal with the spread on a forex pair?

Set a maximum spread per account. Spreads on major pairs are tight in the London and New York sessions and can widen sharply around scheduled news releases, at the daily rollover and in thin Asian hours. A copier that places every signal regardless fills at whatever the spread is that second.

The right limit is the one your own broker shows. Watch the pairs you copy through a normal week, note the quiet level and the news level, and set the limit between the two. A delay before placing is the other control: a few seconds can let a news spike settle. Both are optional, and a tight limit can mean a missed entry, so start loose and tighten after you have read the log. The maximum spread filter article goes into it, and delay before placing covers the other.

What happens after the entry on a forex signal?

Most of the result comes from what follows the entry. A room posts "move stop to entry" after the first target, or "close half here", or "stopped out". CopySignals handles the whole life of the trade: break even after a chosen number of targets, a partial close at each target, a trailing stop, and the exit when the room reports a stop or the last target.

Take profits can be split across the targets with custom weights, taken at the first only, run to the last, or left off. Small accounts need one check here: if your lot comes out at 0.03, a broker with 0.01 steps cannot split it into three real closes, so use two targets or the first only. The multiple take profits and break even and partial close articles show full examples.

Do pending orders and entry zones work on forex pairs?

Yes. CopySignals parses an entry zone as well as a single entry price, the same way for every instrument, so a pair is no different from gold or an index here. The entry zone signals and pending orders from Telegram signals articles cover the cases.

What CopySignals does not do for forex pairs

It supports MT4, MT5 and eTrader only, so an account on another platform cannot be connected. It is not a broker or a signal seller, and it gives no advice on which rooms or which pairs to follow. Whether a pair is worth trading is your decision. The forex handling is the general settings above applied to your pairs.

How to set up a forex room on CopySignals

  1. Connect your own Telegram account and the trading account, as in the guide to copying Telegram signals to MT5. MT4 and eTrader work the same way.
  2. Set the prefix or suffix so each pair reaches the name your broker quotes.
  3. Choose percent of the account against the stop, and set a maximum lot.
  4. Add the pairs you want to the instrument list, then set a maximum spread and, if you like, a short delay.
  5. Decide the target weights and break even, then run a demo account for a week and read the event log against what the room posted.

The Telegram to MT5 copier page shows the product. Plans start at $14 a month, then $29 and $149, with Business by email for more. Every plan includes the whole product, they differ only in how many trading accounts and Telegram accounts they cover, and a 30 day money back guarantee applies. Details are on the pricing page.
